Cosmic Information

Just a few notes on using the blog.

Blogovlution
Space Connections blog is an evolving format. While we are constrained by the tools and features of a blog, this is still room to expand. I may have st up the blog, but by no means does it mean I'm controlling it's direction. This is for all spaceniques and we all determine it's direction.

Being an "AUTHOR"
You may or may not have received an "official invite" to be an "author" or poster on this blog. If you have been "invited", you will need to respond so I can set the "permissions" levels. Unfortunately, it's not an automatic "enrollment'.

If you have not received an invite, and wish to post - contact me at the address listed on the right hand column of the blog.

Photos and videos:
The blog will allow you to upload directly to the blog - however, in blogworld - space is limited. To prevent the blog from going "nova" - it would be best to upload your photos and videos to a photo hosting site such as FLICKR, Photobucket or youtube (for videos), and use the blog tools for "embedding". Whatever photo hosting you use - be sure to check the terms/features for allowing embedding or cross posting of photos to other sites. SEE: FREE PHOTO WEBSITES

NAVAGATION
Adding a comment is easy. Click on the "comment" button below the blog entry you wish to comment on and follow directions on the screen.

Adding your own post will require you to SIGN IN or LOG IN first. Click the ADD POST link at the top of the blog window. There are two options - COMPOSE and EDIT HTML. Both will allow you to enter and format the post. Use whichever is most comfortable.

At the top of the screen, near your log-in name is a HELP screen. If you are having difficulty, try HELP first. If it doesn't "HELP" - you may email me with your question and I'll see what I can do.

COMING SOON
I am in the process of setting up a FORUM (message board) for Space Connections. This will allow all Spaceniques to talk in somewhat real time, and have more features/tools than a blog format allows.

As with the Blog, I'm setting it up as a tool for all spaceniques. I may be listed as the "administrator" but in reality I'll just be working in "engineering" to keep things running, fine-tuning the Infinite Improbability Drive and possible upgrade to a Bistromathic drive. Keep checking back for more information on this. SEE TECHNOLOGY
